Dental Technology Webinar #2

The Diploma of Dental Technology outlines the national standards for skills development in dental technology and reflects the role of Dental Technicians. Under the direction of the Dental IRC SkillsIQ is undertaking training package development work to ensure the Diploma of Dental Technology includes skills for working with computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM). The Dental IRC, along with the broader industry, have identified these skills as critical in a contemporary dental laboratory.

National consultation on Draft 1 will occur 4th September – 6th October 2017. During this period input will be sought on the proposed new draft units of competency and associated assessment requirements. This webinar will give an overview of Draft 1 and how you can provide feedback.
